Salvatore Gagliotta is a self made man with an extraordinary intuition who realized in those years several hulls Hunt type which will represent the strength point of his boats in the time to come. Because of its strong innovation they had immediately a great appeal on the young and well-off Neapolitan generation who required, besides velocity and high quality materials, extreme comfort and corresponding details for their boats.
In the following years the production changes from amatory to half-industrial but keeping the characteristics, security and comfort produced by Gagliotta in the off-shore competitions of the fifties and sixties.
On the 80th edition of October 1968 on the 'Nautica', Carlo Marincovich wrote. “The only one who has shown to be very worthy on the international scenario is the Neapolitan Salvatore Gagliotta who has always been on the traces of the very powerful bolides with his cabin cruiser Budda Blitz……surpassing in various aspects the results of other cabin cruisers of the same size that have been built by great shipyards”. In the same time period an statement of Don Aronow, mythic producer of American cigarettes was ”the unique European hulls that are worth being imitated are those of Gagliotta.”

save routes
For those who require a safe boat always start with the hull. This is the first particular that makes the difference. The second is the homologation. The Gagliotta prototypes are severely tested in a kind of extreme water rally. That way the boats are safety under every aspect: stability, manoeuvrability, resistance of the materials in different sea conditions, holding of the structures to the different water stresses.
